@don_dumas If I had a major family trip that I planned around the CIF state schedule, I would not change it either. If Shalhevet can’t meet your terms, they should probably forfeit. Shalhevet knew the schedule when it opted in state tournament. It and CIF should have had a contingency.

I’m the coach at BV. Since you want to trivialize this let me respond. CIF released a schedule. People make plans around that schedule, including myself and several players. Money that cannot be refunded at such short notice has been spent by multiple parties—incl. our top guys.

Boys basketball So. Cal. regional championship Shalhevet at Bonita Vista might not be played Shalhevet can't play Saturday (religious issues) Bonita Vista won't push to Monday, coach has an "RV trip planned" BV wants 2 p.m. today Stay tuned.................
