Recent Ventura HS alum Aelo Curtis wins the Brooks PR girls mile in 4:39.11! Moves her up to #2 in the state this year (Braelyn Combe, 4:35.59 for 1600m is #1).

Congratulations to recently graduated La Jolla distance star Chiara Dailey, who just won the Brooks PR girls two-mile in 9:49.57! Once 3200m enroute splits are posted, that would surpass the state girls' race state record owned by Dalia Frias (9:47.28) of Mira Costa from 2022!

Now all nine places scores. If you rescore the 1981 meet strictly on placings using 2026 methodology, that Berkeley team scores 60 as well.

According to CIF records, 60 pts for Servite boys is the most ever for a team champion. Remember Berkeley's 1981 team 58 pts very well (we used to do track coverage).
