We don't have a Navy do we? No. We do not. Actually I believe that with only four deployable frigate or larger sized ships available... We have the smallest 'Navy' of any Island Nation on earth except for New Zealand. We are on par with the Philippines in terms of deployable assets and they are only a 600Bn small island economy. Happy to be corrected by naval experts. But by my calculations the entire Royal Navy surface fleet of warships consists of: Two aircraft carriers Six Type 45 destroyers Seven aging Type 23s And of these 15 warships only three are currently active (soon to be four if HMS Dragon leaves port tomorrow. In any sensible estimation of deployable capability we don’t really have a Navy, do we?

The ceiling isn’t high this GW, with low projected goals and many teams that have played midweek. If I were in a situation where I had to choose between a -4 or playing with 10 players with no hits, I would go with 10. The ceiling is low, with a lot of unknowns and no need to take hits. It’s not like you’re bringing in Haaland against Burnley; you’re thinking about bringing in Wilson, Andersen, etc., against Burnley.
