Here's a question we often get at Blueprint. Will the new yield-bearing oBLUE adversely affect the existing veNFT holders? The answer is a resounding no! They are targeted towards two entirely different user bases. 1/ veBLUE is targeted towards protocols and power users. oBLUE is for the more casual user who doesn’t want to spend time, effort or gas fees on tedious ve(3,3) tasks. 2/ You need veBLUE to vote for a specific pair — with oBLUE, the protocol chooses the most efficient pairs to vote for. 3/ If you want liquid blue-chip token income, you should manually lock, vote with veBLUE. With veBLUE, you can claim your rewards — oBLUE automatically claims rewards, sells and locks more BLUE.
