@Steph190891 @ma262 He wasnt forced out of the metros, it was his choice to leave a team that never appreciated him despite being their captain. Again, circumstances affect decisions Ilya chose to leave his successful team for his relationship Shane is leaving the metros for his mental health

Every time Rachel Reid talks, it feels like she takes everything that matters to Shane & hands it to Ilya. As an Asian reader, it’s honestly exhausting to watch such a strong character get constantly diminished. She clearly doesn’t understand him and it shows. Hudson, Good luck!

@mari_paints @ma262 It’s not about captainship. The issue is Rachel not exploring the trauma behind it. Shane was forced out of Metro, unlike Ilya who chose his path, and reducing that kind of upheaval to “he’ll just sit back and enjoy” is a complete disservice to his character.
