Any more excuses you'd like to conjure up for people exercising their rights equally? Voters already can initiate tax decrease elections - sure you know what you're talking about????? Prosper's plan also includes a future high school but guess what - the VOTERS that will pay that tax APPROVED it back in 2023. Unless you live in Prosper - you have ZERO say in it. If you do and you lost - then move. Easy solutions. Next.

@StephenDunson @FamilyProjectTX Prosper is 94M. They exist.
And the way it’s approved is a scam. Low turnout elections. Confusing ballot language. All done on purpose.
It’s why we need @GregAbbott_TX’s plan.
Make it in November. High turnout.
Require 66% to pass.
Allow for voters to initiate tax DECREASE elex

@Jeff_Brunson He said day not days literally. His words not mine
Hypocrisy at its finest
English

@StephenDunson It doesn’t. Not sure it makes sense to have that opinion but you are obviously free to have it.

At this point, they are going to hate us no matter what we do or say.
Just embrace being a villain.

@jlkurtz Is Tech slowly turning into Texas and wants to run the big 12?
English

Texas would have the most conservative and pro-LIBERTY legislature in America, Democrats would no longer chair any committees, our Obama Parlimentarian would be fired...
And we’d start ELIMINATING PROPERTY TAXES on day one!
Mike 🇺🇸@MikeyDog
@brianeharrison We need @brianeharrison to be Speaker of the Texas House and set the legislative agenda there. #TxLege

@LisaE333 @brianeharrison @AnnWils2016 What wouldn’t?
Here educate yourself

@DerekAyala1987 So this is what you want???
kvue.com/article/news/p…
English

Agree! We want property taxes eliminated... a promise that Greg Abbott has made for years.
We want a stronger Texas!
Texas Family Project@FamilyProjectTX
Texans don't want another $100,000,000 highschool sports facility; they want lower property taxes.
English

@brianeharrison How about our county governments? Would it be some form of a sales tax? Raise consumption taxes?
English

@1Gingin @brianeharrison He can’t even pass a single bill and is despised by both Democrats and Republicans. You’re joking right?????
English

@brianeharrison I would love it if you were the leader in the Texas House.
English

@Jeff_Brunson Then I would counter that Friday's are a sacred day for college football - it can be both - doesn't have to be one or the other right?
English

@StephenDunson That logic doesn’t work. He already holds the opinion that Fridays are sacred for Texas HS football.
We know this.
Just because he holds that opinion doesn’t mean that he necessarily has a specific sacred day for college football.
English

@Jeff_Brunson He's both - self-serving and petty and the more he talks the more he is exposed on this matter.
English

@StephenDunson That’s fine. But self-serving and petty are far different descriptors than hypocrisy.
We are all self-serving and petty over certain things.
English

@cottongirl45 just what do you think they will do to replace the tens of billions annually in property tax revenue that goes to support the society we live in with? Hint - the taxes ARE NOT going away either way. Ever wonder why you never hear of ANY politician attacking insurance????
English

@FamilyProjectTX No we want no property taxes!! And lower insurance. I had to cancel my home insurance. I couldn’t afford it and it did cover a rebuild. It’s unreal.
English

Because our “Republican” Texas House Speaker kept bills to ban taxpayer funded lobbying off the floor last session….
Texas taxpayers are still being forced to pay for lobbyists, who lobby for woke, leftist policies… and for HIGHER PROPERTY TAXES!
Complete betrayal.
Jose Melendez@JoseMelendezTX
🚨 NEW REPORT 🚨 Taxpayer-funded lobbying in Texas hit as much as $111.5 MILLION during the 89th Legislature, more than doubling since the 85th Legislature. The government shouldn’t lobby itself with your money. It's time we end the weaponization of our tax dollars. Read the full report👇 texaspolicy.com/when-governmen… @TPPF

@Jeff_Brunson Let’s take that position that he doesn’t have a strong stance on a sacred day for college football. Then that means all days are available to be sacred. If he doesn’t define sacred days for both parties then not one can claim a specific day over the other.
English

@StephenDunson That’s not my position.
You haven’t called me a hypocrite.
I said it’s possible that Cody doesn’t have a strong stance on a sacred college football day.
English

@Jeff_Brunson And by the way, Aggies vs. Longhorns is on a Friday night - AGAIN - and neither of them are whining or complaining about it.
English

What are you talking about?
One can have the opinion that Fridays are for High School football without having a definitive opinion on a day for College football.
We all know that NFL plays on Thursdays, Sundays, and Monday (with some playoff Saturday games).
College games have been played throughout the week for years.
To prove that Cody is a hypocrite, the onus is on you to prove that he holds the position that Saturdays are sacred for College football. I would still disagree with that logic but we aren’t there yet.
You are the one that is boxed in to use your phrase.
