A few Autograph COAs to look out for: J. DiMaggio Company (not related to Joe DiMaggio whatsoever) Don Frangipani (every single piece is a fake from this clown) GAI (mostly fugazi) AAU PAAS Ace Chris Morales (forger) CSC Collectibles These are all garbage

Hi @Steve_Grad I’ve been enjoying the YT & IG videos. I’m a huge Robin Roberts collector of signed & unsigned items. Can I have an opinion on a card? Do you also think this 49B auto looks iffy ? I’ve never seen a Roberts auto style like this even going back to 1947. Thx

All bad. He’s a well known forger who’s been at it for years and years. Guys like him stay under the radar as he targets players whose auto price is in the $100-400 range.

There’s also a lot of amateur forgeries that fool people daily. A forger in New Jersey has made a fortune the past 25-30 years with “vintage fakes”. He’s been on and off eBay for years. I see his stuff daily.

I don’t care what anyone tells you, when it comes to Jordan, Mantle, Ruth, Gehrig, Thorpe, Cobb, Brady, etc. you get these graphs authenticated by @Steve_Grad if not slabbed by PSA or BAS previously, you get the full letter with Grad’s signature. No one is perfect, but I’m telling you, there are some AMAZING forgeries out there. People are getting burned daily on eBay and eBay doesn’t care. You need to invest that kind of money in certified pieces only. That’s not a plug for Grad, it’s a protection for your wallet. Yes, UDA direct is a viable but ultra expensive option as well on Tiger, Jordan, etc.

Hey @Steve_Grad, love the new YouTube content! Who (in your opinion) has the easiest auto to authenticate? The one where you could look at it from across a room and within seconds say "that's no good". And, whose is the hardest?

Absolutely! He’s a guy that never did a signing or con until recently and I’ve seen so many friends posting photos of their encounters and Chuck is always smiling.
