Characters that people struggle to understand are so often the subject of reductive labeling and categorization. Often seen when discussing “independent and domineering women”, it feels as if literacy is quickly discarded in favor of a comfortable interpretation.

@Deggo_Eggo this is a few things but today it’s spurred by oshi no ko. people see incest subplot and lose any media interpretation ability. i’d go as far as to say they’re hating on it for (kind of) the wrong reasons and it is a sad sight to see

mainstream audiences really do just point at x controversial thing and go ‘oh the horror’ without any critical thinking whatsoever

sources say the storytelling is unlike anything seen before. perhaps even on the level of ‘w writing’ and even…‘peak’

feels like everyone has much to learn from nisio isin. succeeded in all three of his adapted mono endings, and the endings of basically every mono arc as well. more of that please

i really hope people do not put this with the eva manga ending but it is inevitable

the writing quality in isolation is there but ending stories in this way is probably not something i am a fan of
