@Melgibsonacts Very illiterate statements - Islam has its word roots in the Semitic aramaic/arabic word maslim. Maslim means "surrender, submit"! Islam and Salam are completely different words. Islam does not come from the word Salam.

💥BOOM: Seems like people forgot how the Islamic takeover of America actually started. It started the moment Barack Obama slipped up and said it himself. “You’re absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. I’m a Muslim.” His own words. On camera. Obama spent eight years talking about Islam and praising the prophet Muhammad while reshaping the entire country. And now people act shocked at what we are dealing with today. I don’t remember seeing many Muslims before Obama. I remember seeing an America that was still ours. Say it out loud. Who opened the door.

Putin has been clear, that Ukraine becoming part of NATO was a hard red line. Why? Because Putin doesn’t want NATO to be able to drag the US MIL into a war with Russia, i.e. WW3. Ukraine was how NATO planned to force the US MIL to fight Russia for them. Trump knows this. Trump knows that if he withdraws from NATO, that Europe can no longer leverage us to fight wars for them. I’m not sure how or when, but the US will be leaving NATO. It’s a matter of national and global security.

Empty Streets in Damascus For the first time in memory, the streets of Damascus were empty on a day that was both Palm Sunday and Easter. These are the same streets where the first Christians in the world once walked. Heart-wrenching. This year, the dates converged. For Orthodox Christians it was Palm Sunday. For Catholics and Protestants it was Easter. Two of the holiest moments in the Christian calendar, falling on the same day, on the same silent streets. None of them celebrated outside. Syria's patriarchs, John X, Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, and Youssef Absi, made a decision: celebrations would be limited to prayers inside churches only. Not out of tradition. Out of fear. This follows the pogrom-like attacks on the Christian town of Al-Suqaylabiyah, where gunfire marked the walls beside standing crosses, shops were destroyed, and residents described near-daily provocations while authorities stood by and watched. The patriarchs condemned the violence and called for restraint, disarmament, and the protection of all citizens without exception. But silence in the streets is not peace. It is grief. International voices are now rising. Members of the European Parliament have written formally to EU High Representative @kajakallas – warning that churches have been desecrated, homes looted, and armed groups operating alongside so-called government forces. MEP @e_fragkos (Emmanouil Fragkos) stated plainly: "This is not chaos. It is state-sponsored persecution." The erasure is not only physical. In Hassakeh, the Syriac language has been removed from signs on public buildings. Only Arabic and Kurdish remain. ADFA wrote to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen: "To erase a culture is not reform. It is loss." — a call that @ChristianToday has now cited internationally. At ADFA, we will continue to document, speak out, and give Christians and other indigenous communities a voice on the international stage. We stand for a Syria for all Syrians. Happy Easter to those who are celebrating & blessed Holy Week to those who began it last night. Thanks Majd for the video.

@ricwe123 Unlikely that they will understand - hatred of Russia is stronger than anything else. Hatred makes people blind - even if they understand it, the will to admit it is completely lacking. Why is that? What do you think?

Maybe future generations will understand the colossal gift Germany threw away with Vladimir Putin. A Russian leader who lived in Dresden for years, speaks German, whose daughter was born in Saxony, and who repeatedly offered genuine partnership and friendship to the German people. Around the turn of the millennium, there was a real chance to combine Russian resources with German engineering and build a powerful, nearly untouchable alliance stretching from Vladivostok to Lisbon. Instead, short-sighted and corrupt German politicians sabotaged it all, aligning themselves with those who would rather see Germany and Russia locked in a devastating conflict. What could have been a historic partnership was tossed aside for political expediency, and the consequences are still unfolding. Here is the historic speech the Russian president delivered in German to the Bundestag on September 25, 2001, directly addressing the German people,a moment that, had it been seized, would have changed everything.....

John Bolton is a warmonger, a war-hungry maniac who wants to wage never-ending wars against both Iran and Russia in Ukraine. He doesn't have a positive agenda, just a negative agenda. Bolton's analysis may be correct at times, but his intentions and motivation are deeply bad and evil. The best thing is to keep him completely out of the media. Never put grenades in a monkey's hand - he will throw them around.

🇺🇸🇪🇺 John Bolton warns Europe made a "critical mistake" by sitting out the Iran war: "Europe is well within range of Iran's missiles. They've given Trump the perfect opportunity to end US support of Ukraine." Europe refused to help with Iran, and now Trump has the leverage to pull support from Ukraine as payback. The same allies who called this war illegal may have just handed Trump the justification to abandon the one conflict they actually care about. Geopolitics always collects its debts. A future for Syria must include its Christians. They are indigenous to the country and must have a meaningful role both in Damascus and in their own communities. Their inclusion is essential to building a peaceful, stable Syria. Honored to join @ThanosDavelis on @GreekCurrent.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump is LAMBASTING Europe for standing on the sidelines — especially after we REBUILT EUROPE after WWII "To the victor goes the spoils!" "We BUILT Germany! How about Germany telling us that, 'well, it's not their war, we had nothing to do with it.' But they wanted me to go and tell them EVERYTHING I was doing. If I would have told them, they would have LEAKED IT, and we wouldn't have been NEARLY as successful!"

Live in the moment today, because you have no idea if you will have moments to live tomorrow. I was very saddened to hear about my cousins first grandson, Georgio Karana. He was 1.5 years old and was full of life. Running around with my nieces at our Karana reunion the day before he shockingly passed. Alaha mhasala

💯 Unfortunately, it is a European disease. Europeans are convinced that they have the right and duty to dominate other peoples. Sick? Definitely! Actually a mental illness. The fact that Russia has survived culturally and religiously 70 years of atheistic communism is proof of its deep-rooted identity and strength. Russia's political stability since 2000 has enabled Russia's rebirth. The goal of the West was to prevent this very process and to sabotage it by all means. The West's ongoing attempts and efforts have all failed - thanks to the determination and strategic foresight of Russia's leadership under Vladimir Putin. The West's ongoing current attempt to destroy Russia by financing and managing the Slavic brothers' war against each other in Ukraine will also fail.

“Christians in Bartella and Erbil Under Attack” For Christians across Iraq, Easter is meant to be the most joyful day of the year, a celebration of resurrection, hope, and new life. But in 2026, in both Erbil and Bartella, that joy has been muted by the constant hum of drones overhead and the ever present fear of attack. Church bells still ring. Candles are still lit. But beneath the prayers lies a quiet tension. “Erbil: Worship Beneath the Sound of Drones” In the Christian district of Ankawa, just outside Erbil, families gathered for Holy Week liturgies with cautious determination. Yet the skies above told a different story. Drones and missiles linked to Iran and Iranian-backed Iraqi militias have repeatedly targeted areas near Erbil and Ankawa, placing nearby Christian neighborhoods directly in harms way. Residents describe nights punctuated by explosions, sometimes a dozen or more, echoing across the city. Windows shake. Children wake. Prayers are whispered more urgently. For many, the question is no longer whether attacks will happen, but when. “We fled war once,” one resident said. “Now it has found us again.” “Bartella: Fragile Peace on the Nineveh Plains” In Bartella, the atmosphere is quieter, but no less uncertain. Located on the Nineveh Plains, Bartella was once a thriving Christian town before ISIS swept through in 2014, forcing nearly all its residents to flee. Though some families have returned, the town remains deeply scarred demographically, psychologically, and politically. The Shabaks and the Iranian-backed Shabak Brigade 30 have been threatening Christians and forcing many to leave. This Easter, celebrations continue, but carefully. Churches remain open, but attendance is subdued. Processions were canceled due to a specific threat of attack by Iranian-backed militias. The fear here is not so much due to drones or missiles, but of instability, of shifting control, and of a future that still feels uncertain. “Caught Between Conflicts Not Their Own” What makes this moment particularly painful is that Iraqs Christians are not participants in the conflicts now surrounding them. Yet they are once again among the most vulnerable. In Erbil, they live near strategic targets. In Bartella, they live within contested spaces shaped by militias and fragile governance. In both places, they are caught in the middle. For a community that has already endured displacement, persecution, and near erasure over the past two decades, each new threat carries a deeper weight. Easter is still observed, but not fully celebrated. The laughter is quieter. The gatherings are smaller. The sense of safety is gone. Parents watch the skies. Priests shorten services. Families make contingency plans. And yet, despite it all, they come. They gather in churches that were once destroyed and rebuilt. They light candles in places where darkness once prevailed. They pray not just for peace, but for the strength to remain. “A Faith That Refuses to Disappear” The Christian presence in Iraq is one of the oldest in the world, dating back nearly 2000 years. Today, it survives against extraordinary odds. From the devastation of ISIS to the uncertainty of todays regional conflicts, these communities have endured what few others have. And still, on Easter morning, they proclaim hope. Not because their circumstances are easy. But because their faith demands it. Even under drones. Even in fear. Even now. Christ is Risen, whispered in a land that still longs for peace.
