Yesterday, we met with cultural, religious & local gov't leaders in Kassanda and Mityana for #YouthEmpowerment. With youth structures already thriving in agriculture, water & health, the agenda now is to link them to social institutions to sustain, scale & secure their future.

In Mityana district, scores of youth groups we established 6 years ago are still growing, saving, investing, and solving challenges independently. In Tusitukiremu group, membership doubled to 60 and UGX 31M+ saved in 2025. That's #YouthEmpowerment. That's #Sustainability.

Our 2025 health sector highlighst: • 5,163 youth referrals to health facilities • 4,541 reached with family planning • 5,312 FP products sold in rural communities • 702 out-of-school & 587 in-school peer sessions conducted • 1,836 served through integrated health outreaches

Youth at the Frontline of Safe Water 2025 impact: 🕳️💧 472 boreholes maintained 🧼 162 hand-wash stations sold ☀️ 62 solar-powered auto dispensers installed 👥 1,695 water committee members engaged 🔧 21 youth mechanics 🧪 574 water quality tests done #CrossSectorCollaboration

Yesterday, we hosted Mr. Jorge Tiemeier from @HRNStiftung in Mityana & Kassanda. He witnessed youth transforming lives through climate-smart farming, SRHR sessions, & solar-powered water system & heard powerful testimonies of improved incomes, better health, & stronger families.
