Today's TOI reports amazing incentives for #EV users! GROUND REALITY IS DIFFERENT: My wife, among India's first Tesla owners, faced a nightmare on her Jaipur trip (Mar 12-15). Apps like PlugShare/others showed highway chargers—all non-functional. Todanagar: Dead on arrival. Return stops: Volttic (Pinan Jodhpura), IOCL & Jio BP Pulse (Ferozpur), Statiq, Charge Zone, Plug share —nothing worked! Apps misled, chargers failed 😡 Money paid lies unused in these wallets!! We planned a full family switch to EVs. Needs total rethink. Is this how we push electric mobility? Ground realities crush progressive macro policies. Inexcusable for IOCL, JioBP, and others Who fixes this mess? @Tesla @reliancejio @IndianOilcl Without reliable infra, #EV adoption will remain a dream @nitin_gadkari @PiyushGoyal

Very unfortunate incident with loss of life. May god provide strength & peace to the family. As usual media and newspaper ran with blaming EV for the incident, which turns out was not even connected to the charger as per relatives.

@Xroaders_001 Yes. Wiring situation, at many homes and even on electricity poles is sketchy at majority of places. Need a complete overhaul.

It's just poor damping which is causing this and needs quick addressing. Instead of damping out oscillations, it's behaving like an undamped system.

This is an increasingly growing market with about close to 100GWh tenders since 2025 start. It's also very competitive here with companies lowering pricing like crazy to win the lowest bid tenders, though that doesn't seems like a sustainable path.

As per @uday_patel19 - I am in awe of Model Y Juniper refresh improvements, very quiet, sound system is outstanding, better than any top branded names. Driving on India Road and US road a slight bumpy ride. I was mainly a passenger during 400km ride, but felt good, lots of driving by vehicles took videos of the car, not as popular as US in 2013 experience, but still lot of fun to be part of Tesla community in India ⚡

@uday_patel19 Now this was a high speed run on highway, home reached with 32%. This 254.3km done with 138.5Wh/km (7.22km/kWh) 🛣️ Total Distance - 414km 🔋 Efficiency - 129.95Wh/km (7.7Wh/km) ⚡ SoC Used - 71%
