✅ Real World Range Test on Maruti Suzuki eVitara (61 kWh ) alpha variant !! 🏷️ We took Maruti Suzuki eVitara for range test ,driving on highway to see how the Maruti tagline : “India goes electric ,Experience it to Believe It” goes ahead and what experience we got of course to believe it as well indeed Link ::: youtu.be/KmXIanSR6cc?si… 🏷️ Idea was simple to drive it as realistically as possible from Patiala to Amritsar to Attari to back to home (Patiala) with a Real world range test ,plus charging speeds and so forth Results :: 🏷️ We extracted a range of 423 km with 4% Soc to spare !! 🏷️ Some stats to tinker :: 👉 At 90% : 41 km : 294 km (Range) 👉 At 80% : 87 km : 280 km (Range) 👉 At 74% : 109 km : 261 km (Range) ✅ We completed 200 km done with 53% Soc remaining (47% Soc consumed ) 👉 At 70% : 130 km : 230 km (Range) 👉 At 50% : 215 km : 196 km (Range) 👉 At 40% : 257 km : 158 km (Range) 👉 At 30% : 297 km : 125 km (Range) 👉 At 20% : 345 km : 82 km (Range) 👉 At 15% : 361 km : 65 km (Range) 👉 At 10% : 390 km : 47 km (Range) ✅ 400 km done 8% Soc (92% consumed) 🏷️ Final efficiencies as per the odometer display was 7.1 km/kWh 🏷️ Whole range test was done with 2 People on board, AC on 22-23 C ,Eco mode drive ,V seats+ on,speeds were kept 84-80 km/h wherever possible,it’s highway run with a little city drive. @MSArenaOfficial @NexaExperience @evreporterin @TeslaClubIN @PlugInIndia @evelectree @TheEVuniverse @ev_gyan @VahanWarta @TorqueIndia @rakeshkaswan @AsheeshAroraEV @ferrarirules86 @hormazdsorabjee @sidpatankar @Ganikgagan @yogivikas @volklub @mishramugdha @CVRAMAN61

@kushanmitra @gaadiwaadi Residential/office/roadside charging, all these are not impossible solutions. Many countries have done so in a good manner.
What's needed here is proper implementation of a good policy.

Electree was talking about credit for talking & getting details from fire dept officials & comment was regarding that.
Yes apartment charging is a issue.
For dedicated parkings it makes sense to let owners install their own. And if there are going to be common charging, with use & all more will be needed.
Not all places need to be costly 7/11kW ones, a good portion can be normal plugs, will provide enough for daily use of all.
Another way to go around this is to encourage such in office parking places also.
Standardising rules for installing chargers in apartments is much needed. If fire NOC isn't a issue, RWAs have their own drama.

If someone think that tata giving 15 year unlimited km warranty so they are fooled by tata . My ev max Battery drop below 40 % they checked 3 time and admitted that sudden drop but said delta volt is less than 600mv and your Battery will not replaced @Tataev @TeslaClubIN

Multiple countries are using such vehicles in mining operations. They recover most of their energy using regen when coming down with load, not needing to be charged as much.
