@TheHashton @Channel4News 79% is a nonsense figure from Fidelity, it refers to the US not the UK and since it's a self answering questionnaire is basically worthless. 70% of landholdings in the UK are inherited and that's a real figure relating to the UK.

Just because anyone can build software now doesn't mean software is dead. Anyone can bake bread in their home right now, yet 99% of us still choose to buy it from someone else. Simple products are complex! I will always be happy to pay someone to handle the nuances.

ha! my mother in law literally just faced this because she took her friend's advice on the printer for the "convenience" factor. I told my wife, she should have just asked me like they always do about tech related things. So now my MIL printer is a slave not to her but to the manufacturer lol

@TheBritishIntel Good job we've been attacking our farmers all these years for moments like this. No self reliance in industry, food, oil, energy etc means we're not a real country, just a customer for other countries.
