4. But really, the point of my story is not that I lost a bunch of money. What makes this new era of frictionless online betting so dangerous is how easily it robs you of time, well-being, meaningful experiences, peace of mind, etc.

To my loyal users and those soon to be -- I've been rebuilding The Lineup's engine over the past few weeks. moving away from ML model projections as the primary signal and going all-in on EV+ betting math. old approach: train models to predict player stats, grade picks by confidence new approach: find mispriced odds using fair value consensus from 60+ sportsbooks, bet the edge same goal (make money betting sports), way more transparent. if a bet has +4% expected value at FanDuel vs the true market price, you take it. no black box. still early but the full-season backtests are looking real. more soon.
