FIRE as defined by FIP16 has several mandates - one of which is to provide yield, captured from MEV and fees, to asset issuers and daps. This would make Flare one of the few places where you can earn yield on XRP, stables, BTC, RWAs etc based on how useful the asset you hold is to the Flare ecosystem.

Many thanks to President Trump for bringing common sense action to the issue of psychedelics. Too many of my friends I deployed with have come home with invisible wounds and when seeking help, are given bags of prescription drugs by the VA to try to numb the pain, only to make things worse.  Friends of mine like Medal of Honor recipient @dakotameyer have shared how receiving treatment with psychedelics have been nothing short of life changing and lifesaving.   President Trump took historic action today by signing a deeply impactful Executive Order that will open the doors to advance psychedelics research and treatment for our veterans and all Americans battling addiction and post traumatic stress. Stanford studies of this kind of treatment show an 88% drop in PTSD symptoms, 87% in depression & 81% in anxiety—one month later, veterans went from moderate disability to none. This action is long overdue and could save countless lives.

LATEST: @FlareNetworks opens voting on FIP.16 tomorrow, a proposal to cut $FLR inflation from 5% to 3%, capture MEV at the protocol level and redirect revenues to fund token buybacks and burns.

More assets on Flare = more opportunities for ecosystem growth. Under FIP16 this then compounds back into FLR and the ecosystem. Other than FBTC what do you want to see on the network?

The Flare validators list now aggregates nodes under each entity to better demonstrate an entities wider participation. You can click on a row to expand it and see each validators node ID and individual data. You can also see the traditional list by clicking the toggle switch at top right of the list.

If FIP-16 passes, staking to reputable and performant validators will be even more important. The latest Flare Metrics update helps to better present validators by grouping each validator node under its operating entity. This allows you to see the total stake a validator has in the network and how all their nodes perform. Simply click on the entities row in the validator table to expand the list to show their nodes.

Looking forward to the next iteration of FAssets - much more user friendly, with broader wallet support and no time constraints. Imagine this: withdrawing XRP from an exchange directly mints FXRP. Users withdraw XRP, send it to a designated address with a tag, and receive FXRP straight into their Flare wallet. Who wants this?

Contributing to building out asset markets on Flare is a core function of the Flare Foundation. Working with institutions, who all have different and complex workflows, to help them onboard their assets to Flare is part of that. The next iteration of FAssets will be more user friendly and better structured to enable institutions to deploy on Flare without our guidance.

Making Fassets safer, by introducing stables as collateral, and more capital efficient, by introducing the core vault, massively improved Flare as a product but substantially reduced the role of FLR in the ecosystem.  The upcoming Governance proposal FUNDAMENTALLY RELINKS FLR token economics to current and expanding usage of the ecosystem.

Just to add to this, we think we are on track both with TEEs and with XRPFi adoption to add Bitcoin later this year.

Sometimes the only way out is through. The entire DeFi industry will benefit from coverage provided by @Firelightfi Built on Flare serving everyone, everywhere.

@Welsh_XRP @calminspace The core part of the proposal will introduce a totally novel way of building a block (which will ultimately provide the economic linkage between ecosystem activity and FLR token economy) and hence is entirely radical.
