Me chamam de Professor faz anos. Só nunca imaginei que isso me levaria, de verdade, para uma universidade. Estudos mostram que cirurgiões que jogam videogame podem ser mais rápidos, mais precisos e cometer menos erros. Foi assim que nasceu o First Person Surgeons, agora parte do currículo oficial da medicina na UNOESTE. Quem diria que acertar inimigos virtuais poderia ajudar a formar quem vai salvar vidas reais? Orgulho enorme de fazer parte disso. Espero que esse vídeo espalhe essa novidade o mais longe possível. E já estou ansioso pelos próximos anos letivos.

Satoshi estava respondendo sobre colisões [1] (encontrar dois inputs diferentes que produzam o mesmo hash), não sobre um ataque quântico específico usando o algoritmo de Grover, que não precisa de colisões. Isso significa que mesmo que o SHA256 seja seguro, o Bitcoin ainda estaria vulnerável ao ataque usando o Algoritmo de Grover. Como expliquei no meu artigo [2] de meados de 2018, antes desse hype todo que existe hoje, o Algoritmo de Grover não precisa de colisões. Ele é um algoritmo de busca em espaço não estruturado. Na mineração, o problema é encontrar um nonce tal que SHA-256(SHA-256(header + nonce)) < target. Isso é uma busca por pré-imagem parcial, não uma colisão. São ameaças completamente distintas. Não é só trocar o algoritmo. O problema real para o Bitcoin não é quebrar o SHA-256 em si, mas o monopólio do hashrate centralizando a mineração em um único agente, que poderia fazer, além de ter o monopólio da mineração, gasto duplo, destruição do consenso e censura de transações. Sobre o medo do computador quântico, aqui soluções sugeridas pelo próprio Satoshi em caso de ataque: "A SHA-256 é muito forte. Não é como o passo incremental do MD5 para o SHA-1. Ele pode durar várias décadas, a menos que surja algum ataque revolucionário. Se o SHA-256 fosse completamente quebrado, acho que poderíamos chegar a um consenso sobre qual era a blockchain honesta antes do problema começar, travá-la e continuar a partir dali com uma nova função de hash. Se a quebra do hash acontecesse de forma gradual, poderíamos fazer a transição para um novo hash de maneira organizada. O software seria programado para começar a usar o novo hash após um determinado número de bloco. Todos teriam que atualizar até aquela data. O software poderia salvar o novo hash de todos os blocos antigos para garantir que um bloco diferente com o mesmo hash antigo não pudesse ser usado."

Pre-Release Patch Notes (Feb 11, 2026) Update 3 (Part 3 of 3) Enable via Launcher → Settings → Pre-Release The release of Update 3, including its 3 parts, is scheduled for next week! HEADLINE FEATURES - Added a very basic, early version of taming! Some of the friendlier animals you find in your adventures can now be tamed, provided you have their favourite food in hand! - Tamed animals can be petted with an empty hand and fed once in a while - some of them can also be milked, sheared, or mounted! - Tamed animals won't run away from players (unless they’re hit), and will occasionally greet them. - Added Sickles, capable of harvesting multiple crops in a single swing. - Updated climbing, enabling side-stepping, dropping down, and rotating around ropes. - Added an Anchor UI system, enabling server plugins to add UI elements to client pages, such as the world map. This will allow modders to insert into various predefined points as we add them. - Brazilian-Portuguese and Russian have been added as our first new in-game language options, kicking off the first phase of our localization efforts. Additional languages will be introduced in the coming weeks.
