🚨 Man United's data department, led by Michael Sansoni, has concluded the numbers from last season alone show Mateus Fernandes is a decent second choice to Elliot Anderson. Fernandes won more tackles and made more accurate switches of play than Anderson, while not being far behind him on ground duels won, possessions won, and possessions won in the defensive third. Anderson was viewed as a dream signing at Old Trafford, so it's no surprise United are also considering Fernandes. 👀 #mufc #transfers [@StevenRailston]

Loving seeing some old #NFFC faces in this World Cup plus a few of our current squad there too. Already seen Laryea, Gio Rayna, Danilo, and Ndoye. Now about to see Gunn and maybe McKenna tonight. Sangare, Wood, Bindon and of course Ando all due soon. Maybe Nuno Da Costa too 😬!

🔴🌳 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: Davide Frattesi has given full approval and completely open to joining Nottingham Forest, Italy would be Frattesi's priority, it would be his preference, But hasn’t closed doors to Forest. Only thing missing is the green light from the clubs. #NFFC [@FabrizioRomano via Youtube]

'Andy Burnham is like a PE teacher, it’s laughable that he could run the country.' @RachelSJohnson can't imagine ‘a more damaging thing to do to the country’ than replacing Keir Starmer with a man whose ‘main achievement' is deregulating Manchester’s busses.

This is an outrageous, disgraceful smear on John Healey — and an outright lie. There are a ton of ways to finance more for defence — starting with net zero — without taking a penny from schools or hospitals. Reeves should be ashamed of herself for allowing this nonsense. Suggests she’s really desperate.

This will happen a lot a this tournament but I really would love Lee Kang-in at Forest, I think he looks likely to leave PSG and he probably will have offers from teams in European competitions but he would be class with us! #NFFC

🚨🎙️ Gary Neville on the Inflated Transfer Market “This is the start of something really bad…” “Buying players like Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes for those prices… it’s going to start something really bad, isn’t it? Nottingham Forest wanting over £100 million for a lad who was £35 million a couple of years ago, West Ham slapping £80 million-plus on a young lad they bought for forty-odd million last summer — come on! These lads have had decent seasons, fair enough, but their performances aren’t even up to the standards this sort of money demands. Anderson’s doing well at Forest, but he’s not dictating games or bossing midfields like a £100m player should. Fernandes chipped in with a few goals and assists at West Ham, but let’s be honest — it’s hardly world-class consistency, especially in a team that went down. Supporters desire proven quality and youthful talent, yet they swiftly complain that every serious target is exorbitantly priced. £125m? Excessive. £80m? Unjustifiable. £38m? Still somehow overpriced. We must acknowledge the current market reality: clubs are no longer parting with their best players easily. But this is the start of a dangerous series of overpricing that’s about to ruin the transfer market. Clubs are pricing themselves out of reality on the back of one good year, wages will go through the roof again, and before you know it, only the super-rich can compete. We’ve seen it before — it ends in tears, dodgy finances, and players who can’t live up to the hype. Something needs to change, or the game’s heading for trouble!”
