Borrow a banana skin today, return it in thirty years. — @YChoueifaty Perpetual instruments are the logical endpoint: never return the banana at all. For smaller treasury companies without access to large-scale public debt markets… use the instruments available to you: BTC-denominated convertible notes, warrant structures, equity raises at mNAV premiums (if you have liquidity). TL;DR: Raise fiat capital at the lowest possible cost, deploy it into Bitcoin immediately, and extend your liability duration as far as your counterparties will allow.

It's amazing how much the Fed, mainstream economists, and Wall Street misunderstand the current U.S. economy. It's about to go from bad to worse as job losses, weakness in stocks and real estate, and exploding debt prevent the Fed from hiking interest rates as inflation soars.

This is why I think the impact of the halvings AREN'T largely over. Assume a $100,000 BTC price. That implies $16.4B of capital needs to hit the demand side to absorb the mined supply per year. Strategy raised over $20B in both 2024 and 2025. As bitcoin's price grows, the capital raising ability of Strategy will grow in tandem. Now, cut that mined supply in half in 2028 and we're talking $8B in capital to absorb the total mined supply. You can see how the supply squeeze will be amplified by the halving once again. The incremental $8B in capital equivalent hitting the demand side from Strategy is 33% of the capital deployed into bitcoin in 2025. That's all going to absorb bitcoin from HODLers and marginal sellers. The supply squeeze will REALLY be a sight to behold in the next halving.

Bitcoin halvings are officially obsolete. @strategy by itself is now absorbing the complete mined supply of Bitcoin since Q4 2024. This is one entity and does not include $IBIT or other Spot ₿ ETFs or Treasury companies. Oh, @saylor ability to buy Bitcoin goes up as the price of ₿ goes up. $MSTR $STRC
