Yesterday evening De. Law Enforcement lost one of its own, as Cpl. Keith Heacook succumbed to injuries suffered in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers go to Keith’s family and Delmar PD. While the pain will someday fade, the memory of Keith’s sacrifice will live forever.

Today’s scheduled events at the Nation’s Capital Building were supposed to mark another step in the peaceful transition of power. Instead, the lawlessness we witnessed was an embarrassment and those responsible should be brought to justice. As a nation, we are better than this.

Milford PD Det. Timothy Webb, a member of the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force was shot last night attempting to apprehend a PA man wanted for attempted murder. Det. Webb & DE officers put their lives on the line every day to protect & serve. We pray for a speedy recovery.
