Ya pasaron unos días después de todo. Tener la lesión más dura que un futbolista puede tener en uno de los partidos más importantes de mi país y haber terminado de esta manera sin poder acompañar a mis compañeros hasta el final en la cancha y sin dejar al país representado como se merece es algo que me va a quedar marcado para mi vida. Tocar fondo me va hacer más fuerte en todo sentido, y siento que este es el caso. Sin duda cuando la vida quiere que pares te lo hace saber de algún modo. Está en mí sacar lo positivo de esto. Triunfar en la vida es volver a empezar cada vez que uno cae. Agradecido @Uruguay, @ManUtd_Es por estar a disposición desde el minuto que pasó. También muchas gracias a mi familia, amigos y todos los mensajes de apoyo que he recibido en este tiempo. Voy a volver más fuerte. A few days have passed since everything happened. Suffering the most serious injury a footballer can face in one of the most important matches in my country’s history, and seeing it end this way without being able to stay on the pitch and support my teammates until the final whistle, is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Hitting rock bottom will make me stronger in every sense, and I truly believe that’s the case here. Without a doubt, when life wants you to stop, it finds a way to let you know.
It’s up to me to take the positives from this. Success in life is about starting again every time you fall. I’m incredibly grateful to @Uruguay and @ManUtd for being there for me from the moment it happened.
