@Upwork After 3 hours of arguing with your AI, I managed to get it to open a ticket with my info, and eventually, support fixed it. You guys cannot have a lying AI saying it cannot open tickets (when it totally can), and no way to open them without the AI.

Dear @Upwork I recently applied for a blockchain development role on your platform and engaged with a client who provided a codebase after a brief interview. Upon reviewing the code, I discovered malicious logic designed to extract private keys posing a direct risk of wallet compromise and fund theft. While I identified the issue before executing the code, this incident highlights a serious security gap affecting developers on your platform. In addition to the security risk, I lost time and Connects engaging with what turned out to be a malicious actor. I urge Upwork to strengthen vetting mechanisms for technical job postings and provide better protection for developers handling executable code. This is not just about lost opportunities, it’s about user safety.
