I once again need to remind people that you’re not raising green flags by saying this stuff. You’re raising red ones. “Character who came out of nowhere actually beat the ass of the Protagonist who just killed Zeus and had all these godly powers, this is GREAT!” This has never felt great for any story, and no, the fact that it happened off screen doesn’t lessen how badly that idea sounds. It reeks of pet character syndrome, of the all powerful DM NPC who can do no wrong. ESPECIALLY since she did so much lore wise. I liked Faye for her ability to understand and guide Kratos. If she can fight, neat, but we gotta stop this whole “job the old to gas up the new” trend in writing. It just makes people annoyed.

It needs to be stressed to people that played with their eyes closed that Faye beat his ass when they met. Spartan Rage, Blades of Exile and God like strength was subdued by Midgar Baba Yaga.

@UrNeverRight @41m44rr1 @TARUNspeakss Correct. A real rape is more akin to being shot by someone. And then saying your trauma bonded to your shooter because he shot you. It's ridiculous in every way.

Asked one of my known clinical psychologist about this and she said “Trauma bonding, fear, shame, or attempts to regain control often lead assault victims to maintain some contact with perpetrators & in most cases they are known/relatives & blocking may escalate things and no victim wants that” And if you are not a woman & victim, do not patronise them by telling how to react to their trauma.

This meme has single-handedly destroyed the female gender. Men have taken a commanding lead in the gender war.

A wave of guys are currently sharing accounts of messages from their girlfriends who become furious that they have to block or end contact with a rapist. It’s not quite a male MeToo, but there are some similarities. One gender’s hidden/dark/dubious sexual behaviour suddenly comes into the light, and lots of men who thought they were alone can recognize the story. “Believe all men.”

@champagne_scar being a victim of assault and being jealous that your female partner is a victim of assault are not the same thing, and there are no similarities. incel thinking is the most pathetic mindset on earth

@champagne_scar “I was raped in college.” *Tells story.* “Oh my god, did you contact police?” “No.” “Did you report it to your college?” “No.” “So what happened to this guy?” “Nothing.” “Where is he now?” “He’s around. He’s in my friend group; we see each other every now and then. We’re cool.”
