Good Morning, Today I'm finishing up my final project for my technical writing class. Then I'm going to spend some time painting. I've been playing with limited palettes. @Ava4you_ @L_Eve_Gale and @VGrantRomance what does your day look like?

@Tamara_Haddock Thanks for your feedback, Tamara! The ampersand is what's throwing me off...people don't usually speak in symbols. I'm thinking I'll have to either use 'the inn', the inn name 'SeaScape' or type 'BandB' for the dialogue. It's the MC's home, so it's used a LOT! 😀

@VGrantRomance In dialog I'd go with character prefrences. Different people refer to things differently, I'd make the choice per char. If I'm talking about a bed and breakfast I usually call it by its name, "The wildflower" or "the inn" are the two we have here. (not even their full names.)

To all the writers - it occurred to me today how rarely writers get told they’re doing a great job (and no, I’m fine, this isn’t for me.) But it can be a seriously lonely job, lots of time inside your head, too much time staring at a screen, deliberately listening to voices that aren’t real. So tag a writer today and tell them they’re great, and that they’re doing something good. Tell them to keep writing. Tell them those books mean something to you. Because writers do need it, not often, but every now and then. You’d be amazed how rarely we hear it. Thanks lovely readers x

@AlyssaMatesic @samknovels I save mine using the first names of the female and male main characters, then the month. I update it each month, saving all the previous months, just in case 🙄

Geez my post about giving my neighbor a hand with her hot water tank blew up. Leaving soon to get the new tank but I wanted to let some of you know a few things. First I was a carpenter for many years. My father taught me everything I know about construction, trades. I do know what I am doing. I’m not an idiot. I don’t need to watch a YouTube video on doing whatever. Second I’m not asking for praise. If there’s one thing I like about X is reading the good things in life. I thought this was a good thing. Most of my neighbors are elderly. In the winter my son and I will clean the snow of their driveways. We help them clean up their leaves. When the power is out we check on them. It’s not about looking for a “medal “ it’s about doing the right thing.
