When I gained admission into AFSS PH, JSS1 in 2005, I bought a Mathematical instrument set for 150 Naira.
Last Friday, I told my students to get one for this week's work (Graph of linear equations in two variables)
I was told they got a math set for 2,000 naira 📐

In September 2000, when I got admitted into JSS1, my mom gave me 1,000 naira to buy provisions I will take to school as a boarder, I would go to a popular supermarket then in kaduna, called roundabout and buy all that I needed and my pocket money was 1,000 naira for the entire term. What really happened to Nigeria? 26yrs later, 1k can barely buy you lunch

If you’re in Nigeria and your MTN data disappears faster than money in your account, you’re not crazy.
15GB weekly is now ₦6,000.
Not too long ago, that same thing was around ₦2,000.
1GB now averages around ₦575.
Everybody keeps shouting “telcos are thieves”.
But after digging through NCC reports, MTN financials, global pricing data, and industry numbers… the reality is way more uncomfortable than that.
This whole thing is deeper than people think.

Why did you go to the ADC in the first place if you knew you didn't have the stomach for the drama and the way money talks in those rooms? It shows you're not consistent and you're just looking for a shortcut to a presidential ticket. If you can't even convince your own people in ADC to stay united behind you, how are you going to manage the whole of Nigeria? You keep jumping from one house to another and making excuses every time you leave, but the truth is your action reeks desperation and you lack the grit to stay and fight where you are.

Wrong move was joining LP for 2023. He was totally absent in the core North. He is playing the game of cross-carpeting again.

Nigeria was colonised by the British and a few things didn't change after the left.
Your surname(Last name) comes first, followed by a comma, then first name and other names.

The correct way to write your full name is First name, Middle name(s), then Surname/Last name. For example, if your surname is Bose, your middle name is Taiwo, and your first name is Bimbo, it should be written as: Bimbo Taiwo Bose If you prefer to write your surname first, it should be in this format: BOSE, Bimbo Taiwo (Surname in capital letters, followed by a comma, then other names in lowercase/title case.)

I had a friend in school—we were so close, people called us brothers.
After NYSC, I had a major breakdown.
I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but he was the only person I could run to.
He told me he’d call me back.
He never did.
For two days, he ignored my calls.
That period nearly broke me—not just because of hunger, but because someone I called a brother turned his back on me so easily.
That experience taught me something:
Never depend on anyone completely.
Fast forward a few years later… he reached out, acting like nothing happened.
I reminded him everything that happened in the past.
I forgave him. And I moved on.
