This week @MayorofLondon announced £12.4m Civic Partnership Programme investment for projects in Brent, Redbridge, Hackney, Lewisham & Croydon.

Ever wondered what happens at Mosque? I just came back from Friday prayers. It’s not mandatory for women to pray in mosque but I like to pray with others on our holy day of the week. We take our shoes off inside the mosque 1/3

You will see more officers around Hackney this weekend & the coming weeks. Please do come & speak to us if you have any concerns or are worried. Our priority is to keep our local communities safe and ensure any criminality is dealt with swiftly. #CommunityCrimeFighting

This is not protest, it is pure violence. We will have a standing army of public duty officers. We will ramp up criminal justice. We will apply criminal law online as well as offline. We will not tolerate attacks on mosques or on Muslim communities.

This is the swift action we’re taking. If you provoke violent disorder on our streets or online, you will face the full force of the law.

The rise of antisemitic incidents in the UK is deeply concerning. Jewish people, and all those from faith communities, deserve to feel safe on our streets. I'd like to thank the CST for their action. We will work together to eradicate discrimination of any kind.

I joined the Home Secretary to thank the officers working in our communities, particularly in #Hackney. Thanks to the leadership of Central East BCU and @MPSHackney for liaising with the community, as well as the Community Safety @hackneycouncil. Hackney residents were genuinely worried because of the misinformation circulated in the community and amplified on social media. #ProudlyHackney
