Rewarding weekend as an SLT apprentice–independent lang ax, improving swallow review notes (fewer pts NBM over weekend- yay!) ICU & trachy exposure, recapped respiratory lecture notes w/seniors, made aphasia d/c packs for pts going home.Grateful for the opportunities! 💜 @swb_slt

Exam: Complete! Learned loads (even if my adult-brain had to work overtime). Loving the apprentice life though. Now- time to enjoy the bank holiday before the next module adventure begins! 😎☀️

Spent the afternoon at my local #library doing some uni work following a lecture reschedule. Tomorrow I plan on spending the day on campus at the Mary Seacole library. First assignment deadline is looming! #loveyourlibrary

Last shift before Easter done! Chic + bunny ears for tol-checks at breakfast, learnt loads during EBP, final L6 lunch with the crew, smashed a comms assessment with my mentor and wrote an Easter poem for the team.

For Lent Ive given up IDDSI L7 diet! + as its @NHWeek Im eating out for lunch to see whats available for those on modified diets. Food options have been very limited across hospitals, education + social settings! Such an eye opening experience! ROLL ON EASTER! #DysphagiaAwareness
