Just because a person is kind or compassionate does not mean they are without bias. Just because someone is an accomplished scientist/leader/academic/policymaker…does not mean they understand equity. We need to up the game around baseline competency in #EDI in healthcare.

@MarcGarneau Is the pneumonia vaccine covered by provincial Medicare? I thought it was just the flu because I think seniors should receive both vaccines that you got.

Just got two vaccines: one against influenza and one against the pneumococcal virus. It’s a good idea to get vaccinated.
