🚨 MIDLAND, TEXAS SHOOTING UPDATE 🚨 Authorities have identified the victim killed in Thursday’s mass shooting as Edward “Ed” Scott, 62, of Midland. Ten others were injured in the attack. As of this evening, four victims remain hospitalized, including two in critical condition. The suspect, Victor Mata Villarreal, was found deceased following a lengthy standoff with law enforcement. Investigators say he was already wanted in connection with a separate shooting involving a police officer just days before the attack. At this time, authorities have not released a motive, and the investigation remains active. Please keep the victims, their families, the injured, first responders, and the Midland community in your thoughts during this difficult time. 🕊️ One life lost. According to reports, Kay left without her cell phone. Her purse and identification were found inside her home. Despite extensive search efforts involving K-9 teams and Sheriff’s Aviation, no trace of Kay has been found. 💔 Her family is desperately searching for answers. 📍 Last seen near Oasis Road and Locust Road in Piñon Hills, California.
