This is absolutely unacceptable. Karine was killed in a drone strike that hit a residential building – civilians, including aid workers, live there. Our hearts are with her family, loved ones and all of her colleagues at @UNICEF. Humanitarians should never be a target.

#Tanganyika #Éducation 02 mars 2026 | À Kalemie, la Première Ministre, Cheffe du Gouvernement, Judith Suminwa Tuluka, a procédé au lancement officiel du programme des cantines scolaires, marquant une nouvelle étape dans la réforme du secteur éducatif et la lutte contre la faim en milieu scolaire. • Kalemie, point de départ d’un déploiement progressif à l’échelle nationale • Distribution quotidienne d’au moins un repas équilibré afin de renforcer l’assiduité et la performance scolaires • Programme financé par le Gouvernement, avec l’appui du Programme alimentaire mondial (PAM) et de l’Agence française de développement (AFD) • Intégration de l’agriculture scolaire pour soutenir les marchés locaux • Extension progressive prévue dans le cadre de la Stratégie nationale de l’alimentation scolaire (2025-2030) « La gratuité de l’enseignement a ouvert les portes de l’école. Aujourd’hui, nous consolidons cette réforme (…) Un pays se transforme avec des enfants en bonne santé, instruits et confiants », a déclaré la Cheffe du Gouvernement. Le Gouvernement Suminwa poursuit ainsi la mise en œuvre du 4ᵉ pilier du PAG 2024-2028, relatif au renforcement du capital humain et à l’accès aux services sociaux de base.
