Why do German carpenters wear an earring? This earring used to be made of gold so that, in the event of death, the journeyman’s funeral could be paid for, since he was always a stranger in the city where he worked and his relatives lived far away. If he committed a serious offense, the earring was ripped out of his ear. The journeyman could then be recognized as dishonorable by his slit ear. Thus, he was a “Schlitzohr,” a “slit ear.” Even today in Germany, “Schlitzohr” is used to describe cunning people—though it is more of a playful term. Although carpenters in Germany still uphold almost all of these traditions, the earring today is usually only gold-plated and is no longer torn out.

And they were destroyed because everything you just articulated is actually the inverse of how civilizations form in the first place. It’s particular peoples that produce particular civilizations. If you mass import a different particular group, then the civilization that original people produced dies. If you need proof, you can ask the Romans.
