My daughter's getting married in three months and her future mother-in-law keeps making comments about my "homemade" dress. When my daughter asked me to crochet her wedding dress, I was terrified but honored. Her fiance's mother has been dropping hints about "real" wedding dresses from "actual" bridal shops, like what I'm making isn't legitimate somehow. She keeps asking if we have a "backup plan" in case my dress doesn't work out. I've been working on this for eight months. The pattern came from a master crocheter on the Tedooo app who's made dozens of bridal gowns. Every thread was chosen carefully, every stitch counted twice, every measurement checked and rechecked. This isn't some craft project - it's a work of art. The train alone took six weeks to complete. Those pineapple motifs at the bottom? Each one represents hours of concentration and love. The fitted bodice required me to learn techniques I'd never attempted before, but I was determined to make something worthy of her special day. Yesterday my daughter had her final fitting and started crying when she saw herself in the mirror. "Mom, it's the most beautiful dress I've ever seen." She's going to surprise everyone at that church, especially her future mother-in-law. I can't wait to see the look on everyone's faces when she walks down that aisle.

Yes! I am very outgoing myself, I have no problem chatting & being social in general. I can talk to anyone really! Is that the point of these? To meet other creators? Learn? Where is the networking actually coming from? There are a lot of people in this space and knowledge to me is very accessible anywhere and everywhere if you know where to find it.

Unpopular opinion… I have zero desire to go to creator events 😅 No hate at all — I know they’re great for networking I’ve just realized I’d rather build in my own space than force myself into environments that don’t feel like me which is kinda funny because I actually do pretty well in social settings 😅 tell me I’m not the only one? if you go to them — what do you actually get out of it? change my mind 👀 #ugc #ugccommunity #ugccreator

My name is Chris and I’m an alcoholic. Today marks 13 days since I’ve drank. I didn’t expect this much support so here’s a little back story about me. 13 years ago I drank 24/7. Me and my friend got in some big trouble, I spent 90 days in jail and checked myself into a rehab before my sentencing. The judge was amazed on this and reduced my sentencing to graduate that rehab. I wasn’t ready but I didn’t want to go to prison. I snuck vodka inside the facility eventually and got away with it. I met my wife I’m with now at this time. I graduated still even though I wasn’t sober. She put up with me for years and years while I was on probation. It wasn’t until I got off probation I was able to quit drinking, about 2018. I quit for years, cold turkey. It wasn’t until 2024 when I got laid off from a job paying $45 an hour. That’s when I fell back down and haven’t been able to fully recover. That brings us to today where I can claim 13 days, doesn’t seem like a lot but for me it’s everything. Thank you all for being there for me♥️

Always create multiple hook variations. Here’s an example: I filmed 3 different hooks (all leading to the same body)… same setup, same shot… just a different first line & it changes EVERYTHING!! Those small tweaks can have a huge impact on performance. Plus, giving brands options is always a win 💯 #ugc #ugcads
