Kratom allows me to control extremely high pain levels from CRPS long enough that I can play with my fluffball of a cat Merc, short for Mercenary. He enjoys running around the house with me. Do you have a pet that kratom allows you to play with? Post a pic below of your pet!

Alert for kratom consumers. New kratom ban bills have been introduced in Kansas, Delaware, and South Carolina. Tennessee is not looking good at all. Very upsetting. We already lost Connecticut on the 24th and Louisiana earlier this year. We cannot afford to lose more states. Every voice matters right now. Please submit your testimonies even if it's not your state! Write to these committees and tell them how this plant has changed your life for the good. You do not need to live in those states to help. You can send your story to every state that needs support. The one piece of positive news is Rhode Island will remain ban free starting April 1st. That shows advocacy works. Now we need to keep the momentum going. Stand up. Speak out. Help protect access before more states are lost.

@krisgriffinnn Hell yes! More than happy to help!! I hear everyone's cries of agonizing chronic pain, the overwhelming depression, anxiety and fear in so many posts and in voices...I couldn't just stand idly by.

@hoss_tagge I know it's beyond astounding trying to work through all the non-sensical lies being connected to kratom. One guy told me "men can grow breasts-how would I feel" and also that "his eyes or face bled in the shower?!" I asked him if he was sure he wasn't spiritually possessed....

We are led by fools, idiots and scoundrels in our congress. They are completely unmoved by our national crisis of untreated pain and cling ferociously to their failed expensive abusive 'drug war.'
Mera@WriterMera

Our Rep Cavitt actually said that "if China made kratom illegal why is it legal here?" By that logic, North Korea will not allow free speech so shall we also ban it here?! Are we actually trying to model ourselves after China-For the love of God, get real! #MI #kratom #ban

My body my choice. Only extreme authoritarian police state regimes seek to interfere in personal consumption decisions. Rules and regulations to protect innocents from harm OK. Dictating personal health decisions no way.

@hoss_tagge If God put it on the planet then people should be allowed to grow and consume it, no matter what the plant or fungus may be.

How is not written in the Constitution that we as human adults, have the right to use plant-based medicine? The fact that we have to fight this on so many levels is ridiculous. Anything granted by a higher power/universe should be a right to use once you are an adult. #kratom #MI

Kansas Kratom Ban Moving Fast — Help Today In a last-minute move, language for a total kratom ban was inserted into HB 2365 during a Conference Committee. If passed, this bill would criminalize thousands of law-abiding Kansans and eliminate access to natural kratom across the state. 👉 TAKE ACTION NOW:
Go to Protectkratom.org/kansas and contact Kansas legislators immediately; especially the House Speaker— Rep. Dan Hawkins:
Dan.Hawkins@house.ks.gov 785-296-2302 Your message matters. Here’s what to say: Oppose HB 2365 and any blanket ban on kratom Urge lawmakers to regulate, not prohibit Share your personal story about how kratom has impacted your life Ask them to support a Kratom Consumer Protection Act (KCPA) framework instead

@brent_kellogg Yeah I hear you. Marijuana hates me but I defend other adults to use weed however they deem fit for their purposes. I strongly oppose marijuana bans. Govt should never have control of plants that the universe/a higher power granted to us. That should be in the Constitution.

@WriterMera I learned early on that alcohol was not good for me. My parents, who gave me up at age 2, were alcoholics and I spent 3 months with them at age 14. Booze changes my personality and so I quit the stuff at age 18 having been encouraged to drink when I went into the Army at age 17.

WHY is it that we can keep kids away from cigarettes and alcohol with regulation? Yet they are claiming that they can't do the same with kratom? Why can't they create a regulatory framework per KCPA on the federal level to protect plant based medicine ?!

As a writer, I am extremely dissappointed that so many kratom news articles are appearing in the media. They allowed Rep Cavitt to state his false claims even though journalists with integrity would have dug deeper and refused to publish his illogical rhetoric about kratom. #MI

They love running headlines about “gas stations making thousands” like that tells the whole story. What they don’t mention is the small businesses behind this plant. Family companies. The people who actually care about quality. The ones who lab test, educate, answer questions, pack orders, and work hard every single day. They paint this picture like everyone selling it is some big, shady, cash and grab operation getting rich overnight. That’s not reality. Some of us are small business owners trying to do things the right way. Some of us have spent years building trust, helping customers, and advocating for responsible access. Some of us are just regular people supporting our families not giant corporations, not faceless chains, and definitely not the villains these headlines try to create. The media keeps using the gas station angle because it sounds easy and dramatic. But it ignores the real story: small businesses, responsible vendors, and millions of adults who use natural leaf responsibly. Stop lumping everyone together. Stop writing headlines built to scare people. And start telling the truth. #kratom #truth #kratomsaves @Kratomlife420 @TauntonKratom @KratomStory

@VinoNStrosGal We seriously need legislation on a federal level that offers legal protection for intractable pain patients to have the right to access opioid medication to treat these complex health issues. Where are the Senators to introduce a bill on that??!

1/2 🧵 There is a serious disconnect in the way the powers that be handle pain care in this country. After running into everything so many of us with chronic pain have been dealing with, I think it’s time to say this plainly. What’s happening right now isn’t working. In my state of Florida, and I know it varies, but I’m seeing more and more pain management doctors step away from prescribing full-agonist opioids altogether. Not just high doses. I’m talking about even the lowest therapeutic doses. And when you actually talk to them, they’ll tell you why. They’re afraid. Afraid of liability. Afraid of losing their licenses. Afraid of legal consequences for doing what used to be considered standard care. And that pressure doesn’t stop there. It carries all the way down to the pharmacy level. Patients are being forced to call, drive to, and search for pharmacies willing to fill a legitimate prescription. Prescriptions are run through PDMP systems like E-FORCSE. Pharmacists are increasingly acting as gatekeepers. We’re past the point where this is just an inconvenience. Compliant pain patients trying to access prescribed full-agonist opioid pain medication are, in many cases, being turned away outright despite doing everything right. What we’re seeing now is a system where even doing everything right doesn’t guarantee access. And even when you’re finally standing in front of a pharmacist, you’re expected to account for every entry in your PDMP as if you’re being interrogated. And a lot of that pressure is coming from the top down. Oversight has, in many cases, crossed into overreach, creating an environment where pharmacies and providers are operating out of fear instead of clinical judgment. We’ve even seen that kind of overreach challenged and pushed back on in court. That should tell people something. Because at this point, the issue isn’t just access. It’s the structure of the system itself.

@andrewlnye @misteaz79 Yeah, hard scientific facts prove that kratom does not activate the respiratory depression center. Kratom has it's own natural safeguards which is awesome for a plant. The universe gave us everything we needed with plant-based meds.

@SuperSpeciosa This is a SMART, evidence-based policy that follows science and other States like MI @repcavitt should follow. It is smart and protects consumers from using untested, adulterated products. Label, age limits, tested products etc.
