@eevblog There isn't really a "best" Linux for all, but for most coming from windows you probably want something running KDE Plasma. Feels like the 'classic windows' desktop, super efficient for workflow. I personally use Kubuntu (based on Ubuntu) but there are several others using Plasma

Linux People: There are so many distro's. Can you please let me know which one you have all rationally agreed upon as being the best Linux distribution, so us normies can just use the best one without fuss and fear of ridicule. Thanks.

@firefox NO IDEA why it still gave that "AI Summary offer" though! But anyone wanting to disable that crap, here's how to do it. And since FF also seems to be joining the "AI Hype", I recommend turning all these off (2nd screenshot) also if you're planning to keep using it.

WTF!? I just got a popup in @firefox saying "Firefox uses AI to read the..." when I left a page open a "bit too long" according to FF? HOW to turn that SH*T off NOW and PERMANENTLY? Otherwise it's bye Firefox FOREVER! Firefox does NOT determine where I run AI on MY Machine!

@Microsoft @Windows Oh and for those saying: "See! You still 'need Windows' because Linux doesn't support...."... NO. It's because projects made in the past 20 years with MICROSOFT Visual Studio won't compile in anyway under Linux due to .NET. (Yeah, I made some poor language choices in the past😂)

Hey @Microsoft / @Windows maybe just keep your hands of off MY boot order huh😡? It's already bad enough I even have to dual boot Windows (from an USB luckily!), but one time updating W11 and YOU decide to change MY boot order?! And still wondering why people flee to Linux?🤦🏽‍♀️

Me and my wife where just watching @lazygamereviews latest upload, and he showed a @Computerworld magazine piece from 1987 about an 'AI Product' called Ask God... And their 'joke' about @Microsoft has became scarily realistic with that @Copilot stuff shoved into everything huh?😳

@TeamYouTube But it's not a feature request though? But a bug report about something which used to work properly but isn't anymore? Use the same tool for that or do you guys have a different page/method for bug reports?☺️

Hey, @youtube/@YouTubeCreators do you know that the watch history is completely messed up on YouTube since the last 'update'? It's basically useless now. Because it now puts nearly every video in it which has been 'previewed' even if it's just 1 sec on the main page 1/2

2/2, I've even noticed videos being put in my WATCHED😉 history if they haven't even been 'previewed' on the main page or while scrolling. And to be honest, I don't consider a 'hoover preview' as a watched video. It was a feature I seriously used A LOT but just can't anymore now

What the hell @Microsoft/@MicrosoftTeams ? I'm trying to migrate my Skype account to Teams... It keeps trying to send an SMS to my Skype USERNAME😳 So I thought: F-It, making a new one instead... nope then it repeatedly keeps asking my password 1/2
