I've always viewed Petzing as a Solid OC and have no problem with this hire assuming Mike McDaniel wasn't gonna be an option.

@TFG_Football His upside is pretty unreal, but it’s hard to know if he will have any high volume opportunities with jamo and Amon ra. Have to wonder if his usage goes down with Laporta coming back too.

And I still don't know if it was genius or moronic.

What I’m currently thinking for this coaching cycle: Falcons: Kubiak or McDaniel (Harbaugh & Stefanski in play) Titans: Stefanski or Nagy or McDaniel (Sneaky spot for Harbaugh/McCarthy) Nagy felt like a near lock until better candidates became available Giants: Harbaugh or Stefanski (Anarumo was in-season favorite) Ravens: Kingsbury or Minter Browns: Pitcher or McDaniel (Schwartz in play) They want McDaniel but does he want them? Maybe Dolphins: Hafley or Harbaugh or Minter (Shula & McCarthy could be in play) Cardinals: Someone from NFC West. Saleh or Kubiak?? Raiders: Minter or Kubiak?? Cardinals and Raiders are the biggest mysteries right now. Whether we agree on not, you get the feeling the candidates like other jobs more. These teams could end up with what’s left.

@GoatHouseNFL In the 3 games this season he played they used Barnes almost as a big slot corner and never really took Alex or Jack off the field when he was on I believe..

Barnes extension is an interesting one. Thought they would move forward with Jack Campbell starting next to Anzalone. Anzalone/Barnes were the starters Campbell’s rookie year and then again to start 2024 but Barnes went down with an injury for the remainder of the season so Campbell took over. Either way all three play when healthy. I like Barnes, always thought he was an underrated player. Campbell was a shocking pick in RD1.

Good to see Loren Strickland made the roster. Didn't predict it by any means, but mentioned him as a sleeper. He popped plenty the last two preseason games. Flies around. In as the 11th DB
