I have no credentials or data to back this feeling up, but I have experience of multiple market downturns, recessions, the derivatives market and a highly sensitive bullshit radar. It feels like we're in the midst of a major, global financial event, but that it's being intensely stage managed behind the scenes. A bit like spreading a major earthquake out over a few months. The effect is still the same, but it didn't make the headlines in the usual way. Although if you look, most of the indicators are saying there's been a weird earthquake. Too many conflicting signals. I have no idea what's happening. But it feels like something significant is. A proper, slow motion train wreck.

Well yesterday, Monday, was one of the worst days I can ever remember. Everything that could have gone wrong went wrong, then things I didn’t even know were available to go wrong went wrong too. These included: Fraud Accident (family, in surgery today) Hacking Wildfire Shadow banning Corporate malfeasance Hospital Total Product Failure Crying children Vomit Diarrhoea EVs Comms Failure (in every sense) I sh*t you not (no pun intended) Today is back to normal levels of dysfunction and disaster. I can handle that. But yesterday can f*** right off.
