8 month's between the two and 17kg. 53kg on the left 70kg on the right. I knew I gained weight, seeing it like this however sucks on another level. I have never been this disgusted. In desperate need of (quick) diets. Feel free to reply with said diet and your results. ♡

@YYlang_ @lav3nderbonez Fat phobia is mostly the most insidious when people mock fat people or when it comes to the healthcare system. Your trauma does not personally contribute to that. Idk if it’s a US thing but it definitely is in our healthcare system.

Moots if any of you think the same, would you mind telling me why? I'm genuinely curious as to how my personal fear of weight gain is equal to fatphobia. My fear is rooted in looking desirable(ass/tits curves) bc I've been sa'd specifically bc of my body. Bone isn't desirable

@nyxsalterego Exactly, we have to be reminded of it, this could be us as well. Looking away and pretending it never happened is crazy, there are people suffering all over the world right at this moment. We should be reminded of it, life shouldn't be taken for granted

@YYlang_ i cant imagine how this poor child felt. or how his mother was like, wating her son die of hunger. im not even sorry that i will never put tw for anything related to the disasters going on, in palestine, congo, ethiopia or sudan. people HAVE TO see everything for themselves.

@ThirteenNMD Yes this makes sense, its really sad though. I guess it was quite a shock bc I don't see it often irl (I see a lot of teenagers/young adults every day). It might be bc its easier to share online since their identity is hidden, their own safe space and reality

@YYlang_ Ppl grow up as teenagers too fast bc of trauma, later as an adults, as they work on their trauma, they go through age regression and try to re-live lost years

I feel like some ppl lie about their age on here? Just stumbled across a 20yo, but they look so much younger. Teens used to look older bc of makeup/style, until now I guess? Is this a trend/style? They make "cute"/quirky faces & hide hands in big sleeves. Or just look young?

@cryingcalories2 Yes that's what I've been thinking about as well. It's saddening to see that a huge amount of teenagers are also dealing with this. I guess it seems like there is "more" because of social media? Bc we are able to share easily since we can "hide" our identity?

@lav3nderbonez I'm confused about this. My first language isn't English, where I'm from fatphobia "doesn't" exist, as in, no one mentions it and we don't even have a word for it. At least I've never noticed it being a thing. I feel this whole debate is more common in US, the west in general?

But the thing I meant about lying is bc they have a huge following and usually ppl feel uncomfortable following minors. So if they want more followers lying abt age makes sense (pls dont lie abt age) I felt uncomfortable seeing their BC, bc they dont look 20.

Like looking older used to be in, it was a huge thing. 16yo girls looked like 24yo women. Now I'm seeing a lot more 21yo women looking like 16yo girls. The clothing/style, the gestures and the makeup. A bit childlike tbh. Could this be bc of covid? They didn't get to be teens?
