@ChristianHeiens At this point, everyone knows just seeing them get arrested is meaningless. They're just going to end up in front of a sympathetic judge who gives them a slap on the wrist sentence, and they'll be back outside to continue their crimes within a year.

It’s important to share headlines like this when they pop up. People need to see that Third World scum are not able to move to our country and defraud the American people with impunity. How many times have we seen an outrageous news story and thought to ourselves that nothing will ever happen about it? That demoralizing mindset has to be crushed just as hard as these fraud rings.

@NightbreakP @Red_Mage23 It's a shame, because the aspects of the series I like, I *really* like. The actual plot synopsis, characters, gameplay, etc are all fantastic. The amount of dialogue just kills it, the Sky Trilogy was like 3x as long as FFVII, yet roughly the same amount of actual things happen.

people in general get super weird about the idea of JRPG tropes and archetypical JRPG characters and it's usually a tell they don't actually play much. the "spiky haired guy with a big sword" stereotype is literally Just Cloud, and VII being The Most Popular RPG.

@MuesliInVegas I like Shadow Dragon quite a bit, even if I prefer FE3. Most of the reason I like it is because of the story additions, because gameplay-wise it's really messy. FE6 is...okay. The plot and characters are mostly pretty dry and derivative, and the difficulty is all over the place.

@Emiturbina1 @Unownoir @SockTalking (New) Mystery, Binding, Blazing, SS, RD, Awakening, 3H, and Engage all have a map like that. That's 9 games in a series with 17 mainline entries. Even if you only look at the games that were out at the time of Brawl, that's 5 out of 10.

Hot take. Nothing wrong with doing this for series where locations reoccur over multiple iterations. I'd take one generic "Mushroom Kingdom" stage over the like, 5 iterations we got.

@Greenthunder200 I struggle to agree or disagree. On one hand, being Footlocked and Swordlocked is so much worse in PoR than Binding Blade, and the Regal Sword is raw ass compared to the Rapier. On the other hand, Ike promotes at a reasonable time and is far stronger at endgame.

@Judai776 I've been doing a Sacred Stones ironman, and I ended up losing Seth on the Orson chapter. I was kinda pissed, but at the same time it was complete kino for him to take two career ending injuries, the first when fleeing Renais, and the second when retaking it.

Nintendo knows that the 'story' of overcoming Grandmaster Galaxy or losing 20 Pikmin to a stubborn boss will hit harder than any cutscene ever will. There's almost no barrier between you and the mechanics of the game itself, the design, with unique presentation on top.
