This works in circles where people share national wealth among themselves. In saner climes, it doesn’t work like that. Does meeting Dangote automatically create generational wealth? What value am I bringing to the table? Connections matter, no doubt. But without value and consistency, they won’t take you far. It’s not either or,, it’s both.
