@PrimalRathalos A monster's element only gives it a 10% boost, so a fire lagiacrus and a thunder rathalos will deal the same damage at the same atk stat with fire or thunder moves. It does mean you can use all sorts of builds, but basic attack and kinship stay original element.

The best part about Stories 3 is that it’s completely viable to use your favorite monster as your main.
Don’t listen to the meta, idc how “bad” Gravios or Gypceros is, Bastion swept through the majority of the game - even the final boss.

@PrimalRathalos To be honest garangolm is godly. Managed to go the whole game with just it. It also cheeses many encounters if you do the two turn kinship build using solar cry and soul kinship XL cause it's kinship deals some of the the highest wyvernfell dmg.
