Yes, it makes sense. SpaceX (post-IPO, ~$2T valuation) could acquire Tesla via merger agreement, tender offer, or stock swap at a $575 premium (~40% above recent ~$411 levels). It doesn't require a "merger of equals"—one can buy the other outright. Recent reports confirm Elon has discussed combining them for AI, robotics & energy synergies. Any deal needs Tesla board/shareholder approval + regs, but is feasible. An all-cash deal at that price would indeed tank $700-strike calls to near zero.

PSA: For anyone holding out-of-the-money $TSLA call options, I encourage you to consider this possibility: If SpaceX hypothetically offers to acquire Tesla at $575/ share, but you're holding Dec 2028 call options that have a strike of $700, those would plummet to near $0 overnight. Although I'm not a certified investment professional, I love options and am comfortable with them. Happy to answer any questions as I predict this applies to quite a few folks in the community.

At the grocery store I go to every weekend, the best place to park to avoid people parking near is in one corner of the lot. It's within the summon radius, but I always get a message that it can't due to traveling on public roads, which it some how thinks are an issue. It's in the parking lot and would not have to go on a road. Moving it one row closer and it's fine. Frustrating!

This is where my car is at the very edge of max summon radius. Cool party trick, but still basically a useless feature for me until this changes. Legit takes longer to summon it to me vs me just walking the extra few steps to get to the car

I’ve been living full-time in my Tesla Model Y for 40 days now. Every morning I let Grok pick a destination, and I just drive there. A new shared adventure together, every single day. Once FSD is available across Europe, this is going to become even safer and more enjoyable. The Elon Musk effect is real.

Am I crazy? I'm your typical lower middle-class gal. Not paycheck to paycheck but a super small savings account. I bought 2 (cause that's all I can afford) shares of SpaceX with dreams of retiring & purchasing 5 acres of land w/ a home, barn & garage. Do you think it's possible

I'd highly recommend. Can't go wrong with any of the models, it just depends on what you want/need. Personally the Model 3 Standard seems like the best deal from a price/value perspective. I have a few close friends that own those... Unless you have a family or haul more stuff. Personally I wouldn't do the Model Y Standard as it loses too much off the Premiym ones. I have a Model Y RWD LR "Premium". It's very nice. You should definitely subscribe to FSD. It's a game changer.

I'm thinking of finally getting Tesla. I was going to get one last year, but then Leftists were being, well... Leftists. But that seems to have calmed down from a vandalism standpoint. Plus, it'll piss off Dems. So that's a bonus. However, I know very littleabout them. Other than, you know, they're electric. Looked at the website a bit yesterday. But too many options. Any have one and have any suggestions? What model is the best bang for its buck? Is FSD worth it? Most importantly, what color? 🤨
