@DillonLoomis @scotsrule08 People are underestimating the complexity of the platform required to manage all these things moving around at scale. Difficult problem to solve - no doubts that they will, but I'm assuming part of the delay.

This is a perfect example of why Tesla isn't scaling Robotaxi yet. There are various reasons but we have heard that one of them is that the pickup and dropoff logic needs to be refined. In this instance, @scotsrule08 spent an extra ~15 minutes in the car circling the destination because the car couldn't decide where to let them out It's not that Unsupervised isn't safe, it's just not refined to the point that it's ready for scale and ready to give non-Tesla superfans a consistently smooth and efficient experience Also, if you're not following Spencer I would encourage you to do so. He has been breaking news, reporting from the ground and unlike some others is happy to report objectively and share the "not so great" things as well

I've been playing around with Grok 4.5 via Grok Build. One of the tests I've given basically all the SOTA agent harnesses has been to generate a lyric video from a .mp3 file. Up until now, they have all pretty much been a fail without a ton of work. Grok one shot a process to do this and the first pass output was pretty darn good if you ask me. Good job @SpaceXAI! I'm super impressed even if the Whisper transcription messed up a few of the words...🥳. .

It’s time! My mom will be saying goodbye to her 2023 Model X (lease end). She’s most excited about Frost Blue, she’s been obsessed with that color since it came out. She loved the automatic doors on the X and isn’t a fan of “downgrading”, but unfortunately Tesla left her with no choice as my parents now rely heavily on FSD and they will no longer consider a vehicle that doesn’t have it.

@BigImpactHumans @DemzDeliver I believe in needing data centers to power the future, but there are like 5 going up in areas around me and we already have expensive power and issues. We need micro scale nuclear to come quick or Elon has to get this stuff into space asap.

Ouch. My mom parked her 2026 Tesla Model Y in front of a large rock in a parking lot. She later forgot it was there, and then plowed right into it when she left. 🥺 She had some bikes mounted to the tow hitch, so she couldn’t use FSD to leave the space, unfortunately. The thing I don’t understand is why the front bumper camera didn’t start beeping & making loud noises to warn her about going forward… 😔 She’ll have to get it repaired at the Tesla body shop in Michigan, which is 3 hours from her house. It seems like this repair would be pretty easy if she could get a spare bumper online. I could swap it out for her to save some money. I’m curious how much it will end up costing her. Let’s see…
