To every girl who’s ever felt stuck because of where she’s from, this is for you. I started my tech journey as just a young girl from Kafanchan, a town in the southern part of Kaduna State. It’s not a tech hub. It’s not where the “tech bros” gather or where opportunities are floating around. It’s a town filled with everyday people. farmers, businesswomen, traders, and government workers, doing life one day at a time. My dad owns a shop in Kafanchan where he sells agricultural machines and engine spare parts. That was my whole world. I’d sit in the shop with him, helping out, not even knowing that something like tech existed. I studied Statistics, but I had no clue what development meant, not to mention blockchain or remote work. In fact, I hadn’t even met a single remote worker before. Then one day, I had a conversation with a friend who was a blockchain developer. That one call shifted something inside me. I got curious. I googled things like: “How much do web developers earn?” “What does a blockchain developer do?” That curiosity became hunger. But Kafanchan had no tech hubs. No mentors. No visible path forward. So, I left. I moved to Kaduna City and started learning, striving, searching, failing — and learning again. And I’m still learning, even now. But this post isn’t just about tech. It’s about you. Yes, you, the girl who feels like her background is a limitation. The girl who wants more but doesn’t know how or where to start. Let me tell you this clearly: 👉🏽 Where you are right now does NOT define where you will end up. 👉🏽 You don’t need to know everything — you just need to start. 👉🏽 And most importantly: you don’t have to do it alone. So, I’m starting something small but meaningful, a soft space for the girlies. It’s not a tech group (not yet). It’s a real-life, real-talk group where we’ll: laugh share ideas talk DIYs, confidence, money, womanhood, faith talk about how we can make it — in life, in purpose, in peace This is a space where you can breathe. A space where you can grow. A space where being soft isn’t a weakness — it’s your power. If this sounds like something you want to be part of, drop a 💕 in the comments or send me a DM and I’ll send you the invite link. We may be starting small, but we’re building something beautiful. Let’s rise — together. #KafanchanGirlies #GirlsInTech #SoftButStrong #RealTalkRealWomen #StartedFromKafanchan #MakingItTogether

Why doesn’t my code ever run smoothly like it does in YouTube tutorials? I know I should be used to this by now, but 😭 Anyway, this past week I learned how to: - Extract data - Transform it with fact/dim tables - Load it into BigQuery Now I’m starting a project to help [1/2]
