Locals in Weija-Gbawe hit the streets this morning calling for the commissioning of the Weija Children’s Specialist Hospital. The project was initiated and completed under Akufo-Addo/Bawumia with World Bank sponsorship. 17 months after the NDC-led Mahama administration came to power, the 120-bed hospital and its facilities, including a parents’ hostel, are still not in use. NB; This is not the only hospital that being left to rot by this government, there’s the agenda 111 hospitals are Kokoben, Begoro, Tr3d3, there’s Sewua, Anomangye, Sabronum, Manso Nkwanta, Twedie, Drobonso etc
