With All Due Respect

I was graciously hosted at the US State Department by Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, Allison Hooker and Senior Bureau Official for African Affairs, Nick Checker. Our constructive bilateral talks covered a wide range of interests including trade relations, fresh opportunities for businesses from both countries, new agreements in the social sector, security, AGOA, MCC and preparations for the 2026 World Cup. I commended the US for responding favorably to our appeals and introducing new visa processing mechanisms at their embassy in Accra which has cleared the backlog and drastically reduced waiting time for Ghanaian visa applicants. We acknowledged our stronger and more impactful partnership and committed to expanded frontiers.

He paid. We're freed. Thank you, Jesus.

Eid Mubarak to the Muslim community in Ghana. Today, I joined the Ahlus Sunna Muslim community at the forecourt of the State House, in the company of distinguished Imams, clerics, and other Ghanaians. The Ramadan fast is a demonstration of discipline, sacrifice, and moral renewal. The period calls us to reflect, strengthen our character, and renew our position as responsible members of society. Through this spiritual journey, we are reminded of the values that unite us all. As we celebrate Eid, let us stand together and work towards peace within our nation and across the world. May the blessings of this day fill your hearts with joy, your homes with peace, and our nation with continued unity and harmony.

Chuck was an icon. I am grateful that I was able to work with him in multiple ways over the years, from promoting fitness to sharing the screen together. He was a badass, in real life and in Hollywood. His legend will be with us forever. My thoughts are with his family.
