I have a lead on what happened with HLX in Q4 of last year, and what seems to be going on now. That said, based on community feedback, it seems like everyone is fatigued on HLX and the ongoing saga that is this games production cycle. Is it even worth doing a video on a rumor?

@ShitpostRock2 Objectively clunky, unfinished and horrible? The Long Drive. The Jank makes it one of the funniest games I've played with friends. Also somehow really cozy I don't know how to explain it

Kane's backrooms is genuinely the best horror to like exist ever.

I love that liminal space/backrooms has gone viral, 2 years prior to it hitting mainstream I was already experimenting with liminal spaces with the hotel segment for Wonderworld, which was inspired by the final level of System shock 2 (Where shodan merges reality with cyberspace)

@lugarinh @strangeharbors except the wall painting was 1000% Kane's idea, since it's a very obvious nod to the Rattman dens from the Portal franchise

@strangeharbors the moment that painting on the wall appears it felt like I reached the Backrooms of films themselves, where every horror story is a self replicating psychological/ trauma drama

Parsons probably the most talented imagemaker out of his contemporaries, but my issue with The Backrooms — and this is obviously speculation — is there were clearly things foisted upon him by “adults,” and they’re easily the worst part of the movie.

@DefectivePigg I'm about 400 pages in on House Of Leaves and it's really, REALLY GREAT but I definitely shouldn't have picked it as my first book to read that's not in my native language. It's quite a mindfuck.

Watched the Backrooms movie. I have never felt this scared and this amazed during a movie before. Kane Pixels has done it again, everything felt surreal for a few hours after watching it. I shit you not this was the first thing I saw after coming out of the theatre. Awesome.
