Followers of Jesus, who were around at the time, so believed in the resurrection that they were prepared to suffer persecution and death from within a few years of the crucifiction. The Romans, and later the Vikings, Nazis and Comminists couldn't stop Chrisianity, or belief, so your mocking certainly won't

Jeanette and I join our Christian brothers and sisters to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ which made a way for us to live with Him in Eternity.

On this Good Friday, the United States joins Christians around the world in reflecting on Christ’s sacrifice, the power of redemption, and the hope of the Resurrection.

@NewsMuse1 @DVATW He’s Irish …. and he hates himself ☘️
We’re fed up paying for those Northern micks … £15bn a year and rising.
They’re a bigger strain on our finances than Muslims or any other religion.

@RealPeteBennett How many of those have ever seen the inside of a church??

@batmansagent You are typical of the ignorant Remoaners, Remainers and Rejoiners whose foul tweets succeeded in turning a guaranteed Remain victory into a joyous Brexit
Keep up the good work and remain ashamed of the EU flag

What do you say to people who don't object to King Charles
1) Making it clear he favours other religions over Christianity
2) Is an abject failure, not least, in his duty of being defender of the faith?
Yet post with a cross avatar, a Christian symbol?

🚨Ant Middleton sends a clear message: “If you try to overthrow our Christian nation, we will show you the combative side of British culture. We will not change, we will not go backwards, and we will not be intimidated in our own country". London needs a leader like this.

The King - supreme governor of the Church of England - chooses not to do an Easter message at a time when we are seeing a Christian revival among Brits. It is an utter abandonment of the church’s flock. A complete unwillingness to shepherd or evangelise. All this after doing a video message for Ramadan. @RoyalFamily it is a derogation of your duty and coronation oath, made before God and your people.
English

You are wrong a message is pithy information, an Easter message is pithy information regarding Easter. The Queen gave many verbal, written and nonverbal messages re Easter
I suspect you should change your flag
The Flag of St. George—a red cross on a white field—is the national flag of England and a symbol of its patron saint, representing English identity, bravery, and its Christian heritage

@JonLerrick2005 @mackeeyy23 @PFr1end @DVATW I never said she did. But she certainly referenced Muslims in some of her statements and messages.
English

@batmansagent @mackeeyy23 @PFr1end @DVATW I just used Grok. She never once did a message for Ramadan or Eid, at least.

1) Queen Elizabeth II lived a deeply committed Christian life, defining her 70-year reign through service, faith, and duty. As Supreme Governor of the Church of England, her personal belief in Jesus Christ was central, often highlighted in her Christmas broadcasts as a source of strength, reconciliation, and guidance.
2) Charles is nothing like a protector of the faith

@batmansagent @mackeeyy23 @DVATW In her Easter message the Queen reassured us "The discovery of the risen Christ on the first Easter Day gave his followers new hope and fresh purpose"
King Charles should have given a similar message re events surrounding war in the Middle East & disorder on UK streets
