Orthobros out here making WAY too much of my comments on Flagrant. So let’s get it out in the open: no I do not think that modern Eastern Orthodoxy is the “true” or “original” church. Neither do I think this for Roman Catholicism. Unlike EO and RC, historical Protestantism doesn’t even make the claim that the early church has to look like the modern Baptist church I today attend and minister at currently. I am fully and thoroughly a convictional Protestant. I believe the faith and practice I hold to in the confession and church covenant of my church to be both true and reflective of the clear and plain teaching of scripture. By not wanting to get into the weeds on the podcast many misinterpreted that I was implying that I somehow think that Eastern Orthodoxy is the “original” church — I don’t even in the slightest. If the agenda is to not procreate, pushing the LGBTQ agenda suppresses that. Gay men CAN’T procreate. A lesbian couple CAN’T procreate. No one cares if you’re gay, lesbian, trans, or bi. What you choose to do with your body after you’re 18 years old is YOUR CHOICE! And we must respect your choice. But this agenda must be accounted for why our national birth rate is the lowest it’s ever been. America would be a powerhouse again if we flipped the script. Use 145 days to promote the pro-family and give LGBTQ a day a year. That’s enough! That would get us back to a 2.5 birth rate and produce a better society. Feel free to tear apart this argument.
