Our data imply that inhibition can induce rapid (millisecond) switches between two different functional networks: one comprising all cells and one exclusively made by AcD cells. 12/13

We show that enriched environment changes excitation/inhibition ratio in CA1 pyramidal cells. As a consequence, firing precision during sharp wave-ripple complexes is reduced.
