Hey @JohnLewisRetail this is the state my order arrived in today. Rather than just send me a replacement or refund I’ve been caught in a circular WhatsApp discussion for over an hour where nothing was resolved. Really thought you could find this easier. So disappointed

... I used to proofread as part of my job. Attention to detail is my thing. I have never told my kids about my qualifications. I feel more erased the older I get. It felt good to tell them, you are going to have to work really hard to win an argument with me about spelling.

I had an argument over spelling with one of my teenage kids, and it annoyed the hell out of me that as usual, they just assumed that I was wrong and stupid. I told them that I've always been good at spelling. I have an English degree. I'm educated to postgraduate level...
