2023 what a year! This year was my hardest year so far for freelancing and design. I could also make one of these recaps for photo and video. I can't wait to see what next year has in store for me <3 thank you to everyone who allowed me to make art my full-time job <3

@brihellyeah check ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Presets/ & ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings/ Search for .abr and also .psp files. They may end up as .psp as that is PS’s internal preset storage system

@doronstudio Oh my GOD - This just saved me so much headache, literally in the middle of making a flyer atm. My PC didn’t save the older settings but my mac did and it saved them in their organized folders! I wonder if updating to windows 11 reset some admin settings w/o me realizing

i love when photoshop deletes my 3 years worth or organized brushes and layer styles after it tells me I have to update the program yay thank you adobe!!!! VERY COOL!

@doronstudio I could have sworn this setting was on, and I usually have a backup of all the ASL files 😭 luckily i found my layer styles, but it even deleted the standard photoshop brush sets which I found odd. I’m going to try this, thank you!!

@brihellyeah there is a setting for this in creative cloud iirc. also turn off auto update & make sure you disable “delete older versions on update” if it didn’t delete your older version of PS you can still find your presets in your ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe (on mac)
